This web page is to inform you of a very exciting program being offered in conjunction with The Hydrocepalus Association and under the guidance of Dr. Catherine Mazzola, Pediatric Neurosurgeon. Dr. Mazzola is with New Jersey Pediatric Neurosurgical, and is the Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Atlantic Health Systems-Goryeb. We are sponsoring a quarterly support group for families of children and adults with Hydrocephalus. The goal of this support group is to provide educational information, guidance and advocacy for families in the Northeast quadrant of New Jersey. The evenings of the meetings will feature a guest lecturer who will speak on the history and significance of Hydrocephalus. Representatives from sponsoring companies will provide visual aids and informative packets for families. The meetings will primarily be an open forum for  questions and answers about all aspects of Hydrocephalus including management, shunting, complications and living with this medical problem.
  I am very pleased with the way the meetings are turning out! A great number of people have been coming out and sharing their stories! Our meeting this past April went extremely well!  Meeting Information:

Guest Speaker: The meeting will mostly be open for discussion with a possible short presentation from our Medtronic rep.
